WEST HAM PLAYER EXPERIENCE PRIZE DRAW

By taking part in this prize draw you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, then you should not take part in the prize draw. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the current terms and conditions before entering the prize draw. We, JD Sports Fashion plc (“JD Sports”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the prize draw. JD Sports is the promoter of this prize draw.

1. What can you win?

There will be a maximum of ten (10) winners who will each win entry to attend a West Ham women’s training experience on Thursday 13 February 2024 (the start time will be confirmed to the winners) and meet & greet with West Ham women’s players (the “Event”). The Event will take place at Chadwell Heath Training Ground - 10 Saville Rd, Romford RM6 6DT (the “Venue”). The Event may include the following:

• a training session lead by West Ham Academy coaches for the winner;

• a tour of the Chadwell Heath Training Ground for the winner and their companion;

• academy lunch meal for the winner and their companion; and

• a meet & greet and Q&A with a selection of three players for West Ham women’s first team for the winner and their companion.

(together the “Prize”).

The Prize is subject to availability and may not be exchanged for a cash value, nor is it transferable. The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports has been able to contact winners and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports has the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not available or claimed JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.

Entry to the Event is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the prize packages is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). JD Sports reserves the right to cancel the prize draw and withdraw or make void any and all Prize elements if this term is not complied with.

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

It is the winners’ responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize including travel to and from the Event.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must be:

• aged between 14-16;

• female;

• be available to attend the Event at the Venue with a parent, legal guardian or chaperone (a “Companion”) over the age of 18; and

• be a resident of England, Scotland, or Wales.

JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winners and their Companion to provide proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports group https://www.jdplc.com/our-brands/sports-fashion )or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw are not eligible to enter the prize draw. JD Sports reserve the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria is met. If the eligibility criteria is not met, the entry will be invalid.

4. How to enter

Entrants can enter the prize draw by completing the online sign up form on the microsite during the entry period (set out in clause 5 below) by entering your details.

Participation is limited to one entry per person only. If more than one such entry is received, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.

5. Opening/Closing Times

The prize draw will open from 12:00pm (UK time) on 01 February 2024 and will end at 22:00pm (UK time) on 05 February 2024. Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid.

6. How is the winner selected?

All entrants who have made a valid entry following the How to Enter steps above will be placed into an electronic random name generator by JD Sports’ staff with the winners selected at random. The winners will be contacted via email by 06 February 2024. Full details of the Event including timings and full location details will be shared with the winners via email. The winners and their companions must provide such email confirmation to enter the Event.

In the event that the winner does not communicate their acceptance of the Prize within twenty four hours (24), JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winner (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winner will waive their rights to the Prize. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves).

7. Winner’s Responsibilities

It is the winners’ and the winners’ Companion’s responsibility to: (i) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize including but not limited to travel to and from the Event and refreshments; (ii) complete all stages of the How to enter section above; (iii) provide accurate contact details; (iv) provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the prize draw; (v) adhere to local laws in the UK (vi) comply with any rules, instructions, requirements, terms and conditions, including but not limited to: safeguarding policies or regulations of the Event organiser. JD Sports will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

Winners and their companions acknowledge and agree that upon attending the Event they are subject to the full terms and conditions of West Ham and the Venue (as applicable). These terms and conditions are subject to change from time to time and may include the requirement for the winner (and their Companion) to present valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) and/or other forms of identification (such as a debit or credit card) upon entry to the Event to ensure that the winner is the same as the person named on the winner’s email confirmation. Failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions may result in refused entry to the Event or the winner being required to leave the Venue.

During the Event all attendees agree to act responsibly and sensibly at all times, and will comply with all rules, directions, guidance and safety warnings of West Ham and/or the Venue (as applicable) and as communicated to the winner and their Companion, and West Ham reserves the right to remove any person or refuse any person entry to the Event. If a Prize is declared void or if a winner is refused admission or removed from the Venue because of a breach of West Ham’s terms and conditions or breach of the terms and conditions of West Ham, no money shall be refunded.

Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any liability which cannot legally be limited, including liability for:

a. death or personal injury caused by negligence;

b. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

c. any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Subject to any liability which cannot be limited (as set out above) all Event attendees hereby acknowledge that JD Sports has no association with the Venue and acknowledge and confirm that they have no claim or right of action of any kind, arising in any capacity or in any jurisdiction, against JD Sports or any of its officers or employees in respect of their admission, attendance, participation or experience at the Event.

9. Publicity

By taking part in the prize draw, entrants may be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request if they are a winner of the prize draw. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their name, image, any relevant video footage of them and comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the entrants’ consent.

JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

10. Which law applies to this promotion?

This promotion is governed by the law of England and Wales and the participants of the promotion submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
