By taking part in this prize draw you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions then you should not take part in the prize draw. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the terms and conditions before entering the prize draw. We, JD Sports Fashion plc (“JD Sports”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the prize draw. JD Sports is the promoter of this promotion which is run in conjunction with Amer Sports UK Limited t/a Salomon (“ Salomon”).

1. What can you win?

There will be one (1) winner who may win the following for themselves and a companion:

• two (2) return flight tickets (one (1) flight for the winner and one (1) flight for their companion) from England to the French Alps between 2 – 4 February 2024 (airports, dates, times and luggage allowance to be decided by JD Sports) (the “Flights”); • up to three (3) nights stay in the French Alps between 2 – 4 February 2024 (location, hotel, and times to be decided by JD Sports) in one (1) hotel room (the “Hotel”); • breakfast for two (2) persons each morning at the Hotel; • £1,000 spending money to be transferred to the winner’s bank account via a bank transfer; • Salomon ACS+CSWP Footwear for two (2) people; and • winter sports travel insurance for two (2) people (the “Prize“).

The Prize is subject to availability (including availability of sizes, styles, colours, flights, and hotels). The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports has been able to contact winners and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports has the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.

The Prize is personal to the winner. The Prize is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange. Exchanging any part of the Prize package is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online resale marketplace). JD Sports reserves the right to cancel the prize draw and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

It is the winner’s responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize including, but not limited to, refreshments, food (except breakfast as stated in paragraph 1), beverages, all travel (excluding the Flights) and activities.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must (and their companion) must:

• be aged 18 years or over; • be a resident of England, Scotland or Wales; • have a valid passport; • have a valid bank account; • be available to travel to the French Alps between 2 February 2024 and 4 February 2024; • be capable of both obtaining a visa to enter France (if required); and • have a personal Instagram social media account with internet access.

JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winner’s and their companion (if applicable)) to provide proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports group http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx. , or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion are not eligible to enter the promotion. JD Sports reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria is not met, the entry will be invalid.

4. How to enter

Entrants can enter the prize draw by following all of the below steps: 1. attending the JD Sports and Salomon event in DIJONSS London located at 6 Dray Walk, London, E1 6QL on Wednesday 29 November 2023 at 7pm (UK time) (“the Event”); 2. taking pictures at the Event; 3. uploading a carousel post of images taken from the Event to their public personal Instagram account before 13 December 2023 at 00:00am (midnight) (UK time); 4. use the hashtag #PoweredBySalomon in the caption of their Instagram post; and 5. tag the handles @jdsports and @salomonsportstyle either in the image or within the body of text in the caption.

Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw. By submitting any films or photographs as part of the prize draw entrants agree that JD Sports (and its affiliates) may use any films or photographs uploaded to market and promote the prize draw and for general marketing purposes both during the prize draw and after the prize draw has ended. Entrants will retain ownership of their copyright in such submissions. Participation is limited to one entry per person only. If more than one such entry is received, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

5. Closing Times

The prize draw will commence on 29 November 2023 at 7pm (UK time) and will end on 13 December 2023 at 00:00am (midnight) (UK time). Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid.

6. How are winners selected?

All entrants who have made a valid entry following the How to Enter steps above will be collated and numbered. The relevant numbers will then be placed into an electronic random number generator by JD Sports’ staff which will output the winning number on a random basis. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves). The winners will be notified via a Direct Message from @jdsports Instagram account informing them to call the relevant member of the activation team. In the event that the winner does not communicate their acceptance of the Prize or provide JD Sports with the necessary information to make bookings for the Flights and Hotel within 5 working days of being notified by JD Sports that they have won. JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winner (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winner will waive their rights to the Prize.

7. Winner’s Responsibilities

It is the winners’ responsibility to: (i) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize, including travel to and from the Event and refreshments; (ii) complete all stages of the How to enter section above (iii) provide accurate contact details; (iv) provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the prize draw; (v) adhere to local laws in the UK and France (vi) comply with any rules, instructions, requirements, terms and conditions or regulations of the event organiser. JD Sports will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

8. Personal information

JD Sports will use personal information which you provide, or which we obtain through our dealings with you, to sign you up to marketing materials provided by JD Sports (and its affiliates) and to administer the prize draw. If you sign up to receive marketing materials, we may also use your personal data to tell you about JD Sports (and JD Sports affiliates) products and offers, and for market research including analysis and development of our products and customer relationships. 9. Publicity

By taking part in the prize draw, entrants may be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request if they are a winner of the prize draw. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the entrants’ consent. JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

10. Which law applies to this prize draw

This prize draw is governed by the law of England and Wales and the participants of the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
