What changes have we made to our privacy notice?

• If you receive marketing from us, we’ve explained that we collect information when you open our marketing e-mails and click on links in them – we do this so we can work out how much marketing we send to you to improve your experience with us.
• If you use our mobile app, we’ve explained how we use your location to send you push notifications when you’re near one of our stores – we will only do this with your consent.
• We’ve added that we use your postcode to display local store information to you and to notify you of specific events happening close to you (if you’re subscribed to receive marketing from us).
• We’ve also made a few other updates:
  • Our privacy notice said that you might receive marketing from one of our group companies, if you have provided us with your consent to share your details with them for marketing purposes. We don't do this (and we never have), so we’ve removed it.
  • Please raise any data protection questions, concerns or complaints with our data protection team (rather than our customer care team), so we can deal with these more efficiently.
  • Our privacy notice applies when you use our mobile apps, as well as our websites - that's always been the case, but we've made this clearer.
  • We send you marketing when you've given us your consent or where it's in our legitimate interests to send marketing to you – we've always done this, but we've made it clearer.
  • If you enter one of our competitions and are one of our lucky winners, we may share your data with the brand partner or trusted third party in order for them to contact you to deliver the prize to you.
