JD Gift Card UK Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

By taking part in this prize draw you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions then you should not take part in the prize draw. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the terms and conditions before entering the prize draw. We, JD Sports Fashion plc (“JD Sports”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the prize draw. JD Sports is the promoter of this prize draw.

1. What can you win?

There will be one (1) winner who will win:

One (1) five hundred pound (£500) JD e-gift card (the “Prize“).

The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports has been able to contact the winner and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports has the right to change, alter or withdraw the promotion or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.

The Prize is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange. Exchanging any part of the Prize package is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online resale marketplace). JD Sports reserves the right to cancel the promotion and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.

The Prize is subject to sections 14 and 15 of these terms and conditions

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

It is the winner’s responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must be;

• be aged eighteen (18) years or over; and

• be a resident of the United Kingdom.

JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winner to provide proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports group or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw are not eligible to enter the prize draw. JD Sports reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.

4. How to enter

Entrants can enter the prize draw by:

1. Purchasing an item online; and

2. Complete the online survey you may receive via email inviting you to complete a survey for your purchased items.

Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet. Purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw, but there is no minimum spend.

Participation is limited to one entry per email invite. If more than one such entry is received, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

5. Closing Times

The first prize draw will commence on 22 November 2023 at 9:00 am (UK time) and will end on 22nd February 2024 at 11.59pm (UK time).

The second prize draw will commence on 23rd February 2024 at 12:01am (UK time) and will end on 24th May 2024 at 11.59pm (UK time).

The third prize draw will commence on 25th May 2024 at 12:01am (UK time) and will end on 25th August 2024 at 11.59pm (UK time).

The fourth and final prize draw will commence on 26th August 2024 at 12:01am (UK time) and will end on 26th November 2024 at 11.59pm (UK time)

Entries will be accepted based on the date and time they are received and will be valid for one prize draw only. Entries cannot be rolled forward into future draws. Any entries received after the closing date and time of the final draw will not be valid.

6. How is the winner selected?

The winner will be selected using a random name generator. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winner (other than with the winner themself). The winner will be notified via email and will need to respond within five (5) working days of receiving the email. Once the winner has confirmed their acceptance of the Prize, a link to an E-Gift Card will be sent to the winner’s e-mail address. In the event that the winner does not communicate their acceptance of the Prize within five (5) working days, JD Sports reserves the right to pick another winner (in accordance with the procedure set out in this section) and the original winner will waive their rights to the Prize.

7. Winner’s Responsibilities

It is the winner’s responsibility to: (i) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize; (ii) complete all stages of the How To Enter section above (iii) provide accurate contact details; (iv) provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the promotion; (v) adhere to local laws in the relevant market (vi) comply with any rules, instructions, requirements, terms and conditions or regulations of the event organiser. JD Sports will not be liable to the winner or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.

JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if the winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

9. Publicity

By taking part in the prize draw, entrants may be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request if they are a winner of the prize draw. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the entrants’ consent.

JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

This promotion is governed by the law of the United Kingdom and the participants of the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
