JD Westfield Stratford Opening Event Competition Terms and Conditions

By taking part in this competition, you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, then you should not take part in the competition. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the terms and conditions before entering the competition. We, JD Sports Fashion plc (“JD Sports”), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the competition. JD Sports is the promoter of this competition in conjunction with Sidekick Live Ltd incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 12419251 whose registered office address is at 3 The Mount, Trumpgreen Road, Virginia Water, Surrey, GU25 4EJ ("Sidekick”) who will be running this competition.

1. What can you win?

Entrants can be in with a chance of winning the following prizes:

- Entry token into a prize draw in which one (1) entrant will win a £500 JD Group gift card (There are unlimited entry tokens but there will be only one (1) winner. For more information, please see clause 6 below) (the “Entry”);

- One (1) £5 JD Group gift card (there are 12 of these prizes available to win) (the “£5 Gift Card”); or

- One (1) £10 JD Group gift card (there are 32 of these prizes available to win) (the “£10 Gift Card”)

(the “Prizes” and each a “Prize”).

To be in with the chance to win a Prize you must attend the JD Westfield Stratford opening event at Westfield Stratford between 9.30am (UK time) and 9.00pm (UK time) on Saturday 27th April 2024 between 11.00am (UK time) and 6.00pm (UK time) on 28th April 2024 (the “Participating Event”). < br/> The Prize is subject to availability. The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash value, resale, exchange, donation, money and is non-transferable. The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports has been able to contact winners and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports has the right to change, alter or withdraw the competition or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not claimed (for whatever reason), JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.

2. What is excluded from the Prize?

It is the winners’ responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize including travel to and from the Participating Event.

3. Who can enter?

Entrants must:

- be aged eighteen (18) years or over; and

- be a resident of England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland

- have downloaded the JD Status app; and

- attend the Participating Event and enter the competition (as set out in clause 4 below)

JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winners to provide proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports group (http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx), or anyone else professionally connected with this competition are not eligible to enter the competition. JD Sports reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria are met. If the eligibility criteria are not met, the entry will be invalid.

4. How to enter

Entrants can enter the competition by:

(1) attending the Participating Event;

(2) downloading the JD Status app on their device (e.g. smart phone) and showing the staff at the Participating Event that this step has been completed; and

(3) participating in an arcade style “hit the target” game where twelve (12) targets (consisting of four (4) sets of three (3) matching targets) will be stood up against a wall in the game booth and entrants will have four (4) attempts to hit the targets and knock down 2 or more targets (the “Game”).

If an entrant successfully knocks down two (2) targets or more, the entrant will win the opportunity to put their hand inside a duffle bag to select a prize token at random to win one of the above Prizes. The participant’s chosen token will reveal which Prize the participant has won.

Internet service providers’ fees may apply when accessing the internet. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition. < br/> Participation is limited to one entry per person at the Participating Event only. If more than one such entry is received, only the first entry will be accepted. No responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.

5. Closing Times

The competition will run on Saturday 27 April 2024 between 9.30am and 9.00pm (UK time) and Sunday 28 April between 11.00am and 6.00pm (UK time). Any entries received after or outside of these dates and times will not be valid.

6. How are the winners selected?

The participants of the Game who hit two (2) or more targets within four (4) attempts will be given the opportunity to put their hand inside a duffle bag to select a token at random to win one of the above Prizes.

Winners of the £5 Gift Card and the £10 Gift Card will receive their Prize upon presentation of their token to the staff at the Participating Event.

Winners of the Entry must provide their name, address, and email address to the staff at the Participating Event to be entered into the prize draw. Following the competition, the names of the Entry winners will be entered into an electronic random number generator by JD Sports staff and the electronic random number generator will select one (1) winner who will be contracted by JD Sports via email by 27 May 2024 and asked to provide their address for the £500 JD gift card Prize to be posted to.

The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves). < br/> In the event that the winner does not communicate their acceptance of the Prize within five (5) days of notification, the winner forfeits, and will be considered to have waived their right to the Prize. In the event that, despite reasonable attempts to contact JD Sports, a winner does not confirm acceptance of the Prize within 48 hours, JD Sports reserves the right to select an alternative winner (in accordance with the process set out above) and will be deemed to have so assumed that the original winner waived their right to the Prize.

7. Winner’s Responsibilities

It is the winners’ responsibility to: (i) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prize, including travel to and from the Participating Event and refreshments; (ii) complete all stages of the How to enter section above and present evidence of such completion to a member of staff at the Participating Event; (iii) provide accurate contact details; (iv) provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the competition; (v) adhere to local laws in the UK; and (vi) comply with any rules, instructions, requirements, terms and conditions or regulations of the event organiser. JD Sports will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize. < br/> Winners who have won a JD Group gift card must comply with JD’s gift card terms and conditions. 8. Personal information

9. Publicity

By taking part in the competition, entrants may be invited to participate in publicity at JD Sports’ request if they are a winner of the competition. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party). Any use of images or other personal information that could identify entrants will be subject to the entrants’ consent.

JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw any or all of the Prizes (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.

10. Which law applies to this competition

This competition is governed by the law of England and Wales and the participants of the competition submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
